Do you ever get stuck in your head, shaky, tight, short of breath before the audition, the callback, the first day on set or even just thinking of your day? Do you procrastinate, reschedule, get “sick,” reach for the doom-scroll, the drink, the weed, the beta-blocker… or simply flake? There is no separation for me, there is as much performance off the stage as there is on, so let’s, once and for all, let it be an accepted experience.

Anxiety, at its root, is a Halloween bag of unknown outcomes and uncontrollable circumstances. Over five weeks, we build your way out of it, post by post, learning to acknowledge, address, and reframe. We work the Mind: real expectations, personalized choices that mean something to you, a purpose attainable whether you book or not. The Body: recognizing pre-anxiety before it kidnaps you, freeing the breath back into your voice, grounding and releasing the muscles. Emotional gesturing, somatic work, breath, and visualization become a toolbox you carry into any room, any tape, any stage.

You are not cursed, inadequate, or the only one. I work with actors, writers, directors, and producers who have carried this for years, working or out for long stretches, and I have watched them find relief, calm, and the confidence to finally show what they know they can do.
