There is a rich subtext, an underlying current or simply an unconscious life within us that when recognized and connected with will enrich, embolden and guide magic into our lives. Dreams are seemingly more elusive than they really are. We are slightly disconnected from the language through which they express but our ability to articulate and then manifest them is near at hand.
A dream lives in the world of emotions, symbols, metaphor, imaginings and impulses, so let that become your language while exploring their meaning. The unconscious’s goal is movement, progression, awareness, resolution, healing and ultimately wholeness.
This class will be a doorway to the unconscious part of you that has existed from the first electric current. We will explore simple ways to encourage and connect to your dreams. We will experiment with personal approaches to opening a dialogue with your unconscious through the language of your dreams. We will begin to unearth a landscape of symbols and metaphor that you yourself will inherently begin to translate. We will discover a guidance dialogue through which communication evolves and ultimately will begin to affect your day to day life with potent change.
Putting the puzzle pieces together can sometimes feel daunting and sometimes this will make you jump at an interpretation, “a fools gold”. There are a few keys to hold on to as you walk through you associations and dynamics tying them together. One is the energy of the dream. When you are on the right path you will feel an increase in the intensity of the energy within yourself. This energy can express itself physically or emotionally – you might feel a surge of anger or become over whelmed with sadness. But this is a strong indicator you are on the right path and a reveal is near.
Small clues and seemingly insignificant images can sometimes be the heart of the message. This is why the associations are such an important part of the process. Perhaps blue came up as one of your images and during the associations one seemingly minor object that arose was a blue bike you had when you were 7. As you tie the dream together you keep seeing this bike, so you dig a little deeper. The bike was the first time you felt a sense of independence or freedom from your family and it could carry you further away from their sphere of influence. This allows you to look at thedream and may ponder or feel an energy asking you to let go of beliefs about yourself given to you by your parents.
There is significant journaling, play, manifestation exercises, drawing, building and patience. The= work has already begun but you will be tasked a week before we first meet. It is important you really want to explore and are open to the power your unconscious possesses. As part of the class, you will receive *proprietary methods and exercises to take with you to continue the work and have as reference for your future projects and exploration.
